Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed which player could leave the Red Devils before the end of January.
Per James Ducker in the Telegraph, the 32-year-old German midfielder has always been linked with a move away from Old Trafford having been exiled from the United squad for much of the 2016-17 season.
The Portuguese coach has also taken United to the EFL Cup final and the knockout stages of the Europa League, where they will play St Etienne in the last 32 next month.
Manchester United continued their quest to retain their FA Cup title with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Champions side, Wigan at Old Trafford this evening.
"Compared with other clubs - Liverpool will play 16 matches the rest of the season, Chelsea will play 16, plus some in the FA Cup, and we are in this really insane situation", he added. This is the first time the Cottagers have reached the FA Cup fifth round since 2011.
"Yeah, he is staying", Mourinho said.
"I am not happy if he leaves, but he is the only player that I am informed has a possibility of leaving".
James Hogan to leave Etihad
Last month, Etihad Airways also revealed plans to create a new European leisure airline group in a joint venture with TUI AG. A codeshare agreement with Lufthansa and an aircraft leasing agreement between airberlin and Lufthansa were also announced .
"We deserved to win", Mourinho told manutd.com, "The first half was not very good but we managed to be 1-0 in front".
That Schweinsteiger has stayed at Manchester United owes as much to the inability of the club to find anyone who will match his wages of £200,000 a week as to his professionalism. At times, Ross Barkley is the heart of the team - the driving force, the leader and that one player who pumps the rest of them up.
"The performance of the team was good enough, individually they were good enough, obviously some better than others but in general they were good". In today's match young defender Tim Fosu-Mensah will make his first start since September, while Bastian Schweinsteiger also comes into the team for his third appearance of the season.
The 31-year-old joined United five and a half years ago from Aston Villa and has been restricted to four senior starts this season.
United added two more later on, as Wigan's spirit and energy drained away.
Given the number of games he's played for Everton in both the Premier League and other cup competitions, it's incredible when you realise he's still only 23.
