There have been a lot of unconfirmed rumors and speculations about the Samsung Galaxy S8's specs and features, but the company chooses to remain silent while secretly working on its next flagship smartphone.

Samsung is planning to unveil a foldable phone around September 2017 which according to rumours, may be termed as the Samsung Galaxy X phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is turning 1-year-old soon, and this could only mean one thing: its successor, Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to debut soon.

Two categories of stories that we usually classify as noise here at Android Authority are stories based on "leaked" case designs and fan renders.

Amanda Nunes earns TKO win over Ronda Rousey at UFC 207
Earlier in the year, UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor was removed from the UFC 200 card for missing a press conference. Being a specialist in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the 28-year-old fighter has it in her to challenge the American superstar.

"Samsung is considering water protection even for the cheapest J series phones as they are the best-selling Galaxy phones", the Investor report cited another source as saying. This render has some details which are different from the ones that we have seen to date.

For photography, it could feature dual-camera setup at the back - one 16-megapixel RGB sensor, and an 8-megapixel monochrome sensor. What's adding extra honey to the pie is the imminent Mobile World Congress 2017, where the smartphone is expected to make a grand start. Instead, it appears that the home button has moved under the screen. The phone's rear of the phone is not seen containing a fingerprint scanner, but it is too early to conclude if there's no such feature because some parts of the phone are still not seen.

[Representational Image] Samsung's fully bendable Galaxy X release delayed. Apple has the loyalty and premium nature of its brand to fall back on-whether it disappoints or not-and Samsung doesn't, especially after the fallout from the Galaxy Note 7 a year ago.

There is a possibility that the phone isn't the Galaxy S8 at all, but it does show that Samsung Display has made an AMOLED screen that can take up the vast majority of a phone's front side.
