Galloway acknowledged earlier this week that he received some offensive plays from Elrod and passed them on to the Cardinals' defensive staff. Galloway and Elrod worked together on the Wake Forest coaching staff in 2011 and 2012.
Friday, Jurich said after reviewing "what took place following the receipt of information", it was best to suspend Galloway for the Citrus Bowl against LSU on January 2. The scandal came to light after the November 12 game between Louisville and Wake Forest when speculation was raised about the game after Wake Forest lost 44-12.
Wake Forest revealed this week that Tommy Elrod, a former Demon Deacons assistant who had been working as a radio announcer, had been providing game plan material to opponents since 2014.
"The distribution of this type of information among peers or rivals is wrong and not in the vein of sportsmanship and integrity that we demand and expect, and for this, I would like to take this opportunity to personally apologize to the coaches, student-athletes, administration, alumni, students and fans of Wake Forest University". I have also been in regular contact with the Commissioner of the ACC. Coach Petrino has been firm that on the two occasions in which he previously commented on the matter, he did not know about the information provided at that time. But some of it was even sets we had run but we had flipped personnel.
"It is clear to me that the information should not have been shared by anyone at Wake Forest and it should not have been received by anyone at the University of Louisville".
The Atlantic Coast Conference said it's looking into Wake Forest's findings and will discuss what actions should be taken next. "We're not sure how, ' and at that point it triggered an investigation".
BJP makes big gains in municipal polls
The elections were seen as a litmus test for the Devendra Fadnavis" government and are being viewed as "mini' Assembly elections. The State Election Commission had announced elections to 134 seats in district panchayats, taluka panchayats and municipalities.
Clawson told "Mike & Mike" that the discovery on game day led coaches to change the team's game plan, which confused many players. None of the special plays were run during the course of the game.
"Louisville is an excellent football team, and it was a game that we felt that for in order for us to score points, we had to have some wrinkles in, and all those wrinkles were right in front of us". And as a result, a lot of those things that we had prepared we couldn't run because we knew they had it.
"They wanted to know, 'Why we did work on all these things and practice these things all week and not use them?'" Clawson said. Ten other schools on Wake Forest's schedule, from 2014 through this season, confirmed on Thursday that they are not involved in the incident.
IN released a statement Friday afternoon saying that the school conducted its own review, which did not uncover any evidence that the Hoosiers had obtained confidential or inside information from Wake Forest personnel before their games against the program in 2015 and 2016. Army has been contacted as part of Wake Forest's internal investigation as well.
"Our coordinator flipped through it and there was very, very detailed information there", he said. Wake Forest's statement this week on the findings of the investigation - and the news that Elrod was sacked from his radio job as a result - brought it back to light with plenty of focus also being placed on Louisville.
"But our coaching staff, our players, our fans deserve to know this because they have been compromised, we have been compromised for three years, and that's not right and that's not fair", Clawson said.
